Abby L. "Lori" Smallwood, age 54, was called home on Friday, December 16, 2022, just two days before her birthday. She loved music, animals, and babies. Preceded in death by father Robert L. Smallwood, brother Robert F. Smallwood, step-father Jack E. Lape, and grandparents Jack & Laura Hensley and Jack & Easter Lape. Survived by mother, Abby Lape; step-mother, Barbara Smallwood; sisters, Bobbi (Kevin) Rodgers and Carol Smallwood; brothers, Jason (Terri) Lape and Adam (Jennifer) Lape; aunts, Patty Fraley and Linda Smallwood; uncle, Mike (Vicki) Lape; best friend and care-giver, Tehron Maye; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave., where Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 noon. Pastor Mike Lape officiating.
