Bailer Tinsley Obituary (1950

Bailer Tinsley III, age 66, passed away July 26, 2017 at Arbors at Woodsfield Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his father, Bailer Tinsley, Jr; sisters, Brenda Alexander and Charlotte Lee; brother, William "Heavy" Tinsley; nephew, Gene Scott; grandson, Thomas Stargell; and close friend, Colleen Woods. He is survived by his daughters, Catrina (William) Tinsley-Baylor and Mia Tinsley (Antonio Sir); step-children, Damon, Navashti, Lori, and Tiasha; brothers, Michael Tinsley and Charles (Aarifa) Umrani; sisters, Betty (Harold) Johnson and Eugenia (Eugene) Massey; grandchildren, Mary, Anthony, Cheyenne, Jerimiah, Cornaysha, Antonio Jr., Cornelius Jr., Antom, and Mi'King; great-granddaughter, Ka'mia; close friend, Karen Fowler; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bailer was a good, hard-working man, even at a young age. He worked in fast food, and did security for many local bars. He also loved to play the lottery and to gamble. Bailer was a wonderful father, step-father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and much more. He would always check to make sure his family and friends were okay. He loved making jokes as well as cussing people out. Every time he came around you, you knew you would get a great laugh; but don't make a mess in his cars - he made sure to keep them clean, even in winter - because then you would get cussed out. Visitation 12:00-1:00 P.M. Monday, August 7, 2017 at COOK & SON-PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, 1631 Parsons Avenue, where service will follow at 1:00 P.M. Repast to follow. He will be truly missed, loved, and never forgotten. God saw him getting tired, And a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around him And whispered, "Come to Me." With tearful eyes we watched him suffer, And slowly fade away. Although we loved him dearly, We could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands out to rest.
