Claudette L. Washington, age 58, was called home April 9, 2022. She was a warm and caring woman, who loved reading, cooking, and working on puzzles, but most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Preceded in death by grandmother Ruby Cook Norwood, father Cornerlius A. Washington, Jr., and special friends Bernard "Bam" Pettway and Thax Winston. Survived by daughter, Brandi Washington; son, Brandon (Mikel) Washington; grandchildren, Makayle, Kaleha, Meleah,, And Kyrha Washington; mother, Ruth A. Washington; sisters, Kira Duff, Tamara Johnson, Kimberly Whitfield, and Michelle McGee; brother, Cornelius Washinton III; nieces, Angel Washington, April Washington, Tiffani Washington; Jazzmin Rivers, Brittani Washington, Madison Johnson, Imani Steward, and Courtney McGee; nephews, Kevin Washington, Allen Washington, Angelo Washington, Tashan W. Duff, and Jah'Mont Chandler; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins Visitation 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M.
