Curtis Matthews, age 55, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Arbors East. Preceded in death by mother Ernestine Blaney, and grandparents Waverly and Sally Matthews. Survived by son Curtis "Max"; brothers, Michael and Robert Matthews; sister, Nancy (Delbert) Booker; nephew, Delbert "Ram"; nieces, Amy, Michelle "Mickey", Kia, Ashlee, and Destiny; great-nephew, Rod Jr. "R.J."; great-nieces, Patricia "Tricia", Adyson "Ady", Angel, Alexa, and Trinity. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 6 until service time at 12 noon at COOK & SON - PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, 1631 Parsons Ave. with Rev. Cliffrord Riley officiating. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
