Emma Ruth (Hart) Thornton Obituary (1926

Emma Ruth Thornton joined her husband Tommy in heaven before the snow fell the night of February 20, 2015. Emma is survived by her children, Nancy and Tom Crissinger, and John Thornton; grandchildren, Kelli and Shad Draper, Andrea and Chris Boggs, and Sara Thornton; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. Emma was "Mom" to many, especially Annette Torrey and Mary Ellen Delaney. Emma lived 88 fun-filled years, greatly enjoying the many friendships she made at Capital University, Bexley Activities Club, Groveport Senior Center, and St. Alban's Episcopal Church. A memorial service will be held at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Bexley, Ohio, on February 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. A celebration of Emma's life will be held mid-March - details will be announced later.
