GARNETTE ROSETTA PATANELLA, age 72, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025, at Canal Winchester Care Center.. She spent many years as a barber in and around Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents Henderson Smithers and Dorothy Crosby, husband Anthony Patanella, and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her partner and caregiver of many years, Jeff Ossman Sr.; brothers, Russell Smithers, Owen Smithers, and John Miller; several sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
