Laquam J. Grasty, 23 years of age, went home to be with the Lord too soon on January 30, 2017. Surviving family: mothers, Yvonne Grasty and Maria Alvarez; grandmother, Linda Thompson; grandfather, Otha Grasty; 3 aunts, Sylvia Belgrove, Tricia Thompson, and Iesha Gordon; children, Jerimih, Juan, Jamila, and Anissa; fiancee, Dion Evans; brothers, Dashawn and Christopher Grasty, Jose Alvarez, and Emilio Valentin; sisters, Krystin Michaels, Destiny Butler, Emily Bickham, and Tara Castle; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, with whom he chose to spend his life. At this time we are at a total loss. He was loved by many, a beautiful, caring son, brother, father, and friend to many. May you rest in peace, son. We love you. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at COOK & SON-PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, 1631 Parsons Ave., where service will follow at 7 p.m. "O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
