Precious Rena Smith "Moon," age 57, was called home to be with the Lord on August 2, 2015. Employed by the Hyatt Regency. Member of New Fellowship and of the Old Times Club. Preceded in death by son Dylan, brother Ricky Pate, and parents Marvin and Mary Pate. Survived by husband, Theo; sons, Jon and Ceron; brothers, Marvin Pate, Jr. and Robert (Winnie) Pate; father-in-law, Theodore Smith; and niece Tina (Zack) Hamrick. Memorial service 5:30 p.m. Thursday at COOK & SON-PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, 1631 Parsons Ave., where family will receive friends from 5 p.m. Rev. Jeffrey Davis Jr. officiating.
