SAVANNAH R. SOWELL, age 32, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Springfield Regional Medical Center in Springfield,Ohio. Savannah was born February 27, 1992 in Columbus, Ohio, to Tammy Captain and Anthony Sowell Sr. She attended Mifflin High School and completed the eleventh grade. She worked at Rumpke for one year. Savannah loved to reenact scenes from movies to make people laugh. She truly lived her life to the fullest. Savannah is predeceased in death by her lovely mother Tammy Captain, brothers Kendall Captain and Anthony Sowell Jr., grandfather Eugene Captain, and Irving Sowell, grandmother, and uncle Raymond Captain. She is survived by her dad, Anthony Sowell Sr.; grandmother, Lillie Captain; son, Corey Ford Jr.; daughter, Sa'vonna Sowell; her children's father, Corey Ford Sr.; brother, Dewayne Captain; sisters, Saquana Captain, Lagila Captain,Tielissa Sowell, and Ashley Sowell; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation and viewing will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 28, 2024 at COOK & SON - PALLAY FUNERAL HOME 1631 Parsons Avenue, where her funeral service will folow at 12 noon.
