Tibitha N. Harris, 88 passed away peacefully on January 7, 2017 at Mount Carmel East Hospice care after a long illness. She was born April 8, 1928 in Portsmouth, Ohio and later raised her family in Columbus. She is preceded in death by her son Nicholas Kent; father Ray Luckey, Sr.; mother Marvin Slaughter; and granddaughter Jessica Harris. She is survived by her brother, Ray Luckey Jr. of Washington, DC; daughters, April of Columbus and Letitia of Scottsdale, AZ; sons, Howard Jr. (Shawn) and Anthony of Los Angeles, CA, Brian of New Orleans, Stephan of Cleveland, Norris and Will (Gloria) of Columbus, and Cortez (Tameka) of Palmdale, CA; grandchildren, Nicholas of Richmond, VA; Seyla and Idrissa of Los Angeles, CA, Kameko, Breeon, and DJ of Palmdale, CA, Angel, E'majin, and Jake of Houston, Texas, Stephan Jr. of Detroit, MI, Amber, Ebony, and De'lequa of Columbus, and Brian Jr. (BJ), Patrick, Kimberly, and Keisha of New Orleans; great-grandchildren, Brian lll, Briley, Tayla, Simeon, Tyrone, Kaniya, Brooklynn, and Bronx of New Orleans, LA. Tibitha enjoyed creating magnificent ceramic artistry and helping others throughout her life. As she traveled through her journey of life, she unknowingly deposited tremendous wisdom into many lives along the way that will be remembered for years to come.
